Job description
My client is one of the largest Service companies in Europe and owns some of the UK’s most well known brands. The business prides itself on its excellent staff retention and has an outstanding reputation for providing an exceptional working environment for all of its staff. The central finance function is based in Manchester and provides support to a number of offices across the UK and Europe. This role is a 6-month contract to cover a busy period for the company, they require somebody to start as soon as possible. You will report directly to the Divisional Finance Manager and will enjoy a diverse role that involves a variety of different duties. The main focus of the role will be consolidation of reports, results and accounts from individual departments and subsidiary companies for corporate reporting as well as analysis of trends and ratios in order to understand underlying operations and assist in management decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role. Exposure to the travel and leisure industry would be beneficial although not essential. You will be self-motivated and highly methodical in your approach to work, you must also be able to work autonomously.
