Job Role:
As a Management Accountant you will work as part of Müller's Management Accounts team (Controlling). You will undertake a dual role including month end financial planning and analysis activities as well as providing commercial decision-making support to the Marketing team.
Within the FP&A you will be responsible for coordinating and consolidating our key financials processes including month end, forecast and budget. In addition you will undertake a variety of reporting duties to a wide range of stakeholders including head office, UK commercial teams and the UK Exec. You will also be responsible for managing our profitability reporting tool in SAP (CO-PA).
As a partner to Brand Managers and Marketing Managers you will provide financial analysis for future NPD projects and be able to confidently communicate financial information and provide sound financial analysis. You will demonstrate strong technical ability together with a right first time approach. You will take real ownership for issues and follow them through to resolution.
Key Accountabilities:
- Month end and forecast process coordination and consolidation.
- Ownership and maintenance of the profitability reporting tool (SAP CO-PA).
- Routine reporting including month end, forecast, business KPIs, UK Exec, head office scorecard.
- Coordination and management of the budget timetable.
- NPD financial evaluations/annual business review meetings.
- Provide financial control in relation to marketing spend.
- Manipulating and extracting data using Excel and SAP.
Qualifications:
- Graduate calibre qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA).
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
Experience:
- Previous experience gained within an FP&A role essential.
- Experience of decision-making support/business partnering essential.
- Proven experience in communicating and influencing effectively at middle management level essential.
- Proven experience in financial analysis essential.
- Proven experience in manipulating data using MS Excel essential.
- Commercial financial experience gained in an FMCG environment desirable.
- Experience of working within an SAP system environment (CO-PA) Module desirable.
