Job description
One of Europe’s leading Sports and Specialist Nutrition companies manufacturing a range of food and drink products. My client has the ability to develop high quality, customised products that meet the specific needs of customers looking to Excel in their market. Due to significant continued growth, my client now wishes to recruit a Management Accountant reporting to the FC. The core responsibilities: ensure accuracy of production orders and issues of material to production; review production order variances and develop procedures to reduce/eliminate these variances; monthly analysis of gross material margin; monthly review of P&L and commentary on variances; preparation of balance sheet lead schedules; intercompany reconciliations; weekly sales forecasts; weekly cash forecasting; manage customer recharge process; monthly system uploads of accounts to group finance; budget/forecast preparation; ad hoc requests from FC/General Manager. The successful applicant will ideally have the following experience and qualities: must be CIMA/ACCA qualified; experience of SAP in an FMCG company is essential; experience of SAP Business Warehouse is an advantage; experience of product costing is essential; advanced knowledge of Excel; strong people skills relevant to challenging staff at all levels.
