Job description
Market leader in the Marine Engineering sector requires a Management Accountant to become part of a $32 billion group that offers history, pedigree and outstanding career prospects. Looking to bring onboard a Management Accountant in the established Finance team. As a Management Accountant your key responsibilities will include: production of monthly management accounts; assist with preparation of the annual statutory accounts; general ledger account reconciliations; inter-company reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset register; production & supervision of month end/year end financial reports; construct realistic company budgets & provide information & support to management; develop & document department procedures & work instructions; supervision & development of 2 Accountants; be aware of and comply with Company Standards of Conduct and all relevant statutory requirements; carry out any other reasonable management requests. Ideal Management Accountant attributes: business related degree, AAT or equivalent; active managerial stage CIMA studier; experience in a relevant position; intermediate Excel use; excellent communicator at all levels; self-starter; team player; commitment to result; ability to work to tight deadlines; customer focused; judgement and initiative; desire to develop; teamwork & process improvement orientated.
