Job description
An opportunity has arisen to join a thriving organisation, which has experienced continued growth over the last five years. With that trend set to continue, they require an experience Finance Assistant to join their team. A driven, ambitious individual will report to the Finance Manager and carry out the following tasks: production of sales invoices and credit notes; write cash receipts into cash book, and allocate cash receipts to the relevant accounts; complete journals for all bank charges relating to cash receipts; send out statements on a monthly basis; prepare banking for all companies and go to the bank; check and close off sales ledger month end; assist with accounts filing in conjunction with Accounts Assistant; responsible for the petty cash receipts and payments; responsible for writing up of petty cash books; monthly profit and loss analysis; responsible for the production of 6 payrolls on a monthly basis; tax year end will be completed in conjunction with Group Finance Manager. You will be confident and driven with relevant experience and eligible to live and work in the UK.
