Job description
My client is one of the premier and most sought after places to work in the Midland’s area. They are now looking to recruit an ambitious part-qualified Management Accountant to join their team. This role may suit an individual coming from a background as a Financial Accountant, Management Accountant, Financial Analyst or Commercial Analyst. You will be ACCA/CIMA part-qualified studying at the latter stages. You will be educated to degree level with a minimum 2:1 degree and A-Cs at A-Level. In this role you will: manage all aspects of the month end process; review month end figures, making necessary adjustments; producing balance sheet reconciliations; month end commentaries on variance analysis; making recommendations for improved financial controls; ensuring financial processes and procedures are risk-free and efficient. Skills required: strong analytical and problem solving skills; sound technical accounting knowledge; great Excel skills to pivot tables and v-lookups level.
