Job description
A rapidly expanding commercial business that has achieved significant growth over the last three to four years currently has an excellent opportunity for a senior finance professional to join them in a role that is key to the overall business. Reporting directly to the FD, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of all financial information and supporting analysis to the business. This will include completion of monthly management accounts including reconciliations, preparation of year end statutory accounts, VAT and corporation tax returns, annual budget and quarterly reforecasting. You will also ensure that the accounting systems operate effectively, and work closely with other areas of the business to develop KPIs, as well as delivering ad hoc finance projects. You will be qualified, having worked in practice but already having moved into industry, and educated to degree level. An up-to-date knowledge of latest accounting standards including IFRS, a working knowledge of VAT and corporation tax, and strong commercial awareness are also key requirements.
