Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified Management Accountant in a world renowned IT Outsourcing company. The role will be to support the Business Unit Controller through preparation of management accounting information. You will be responsible for: the preparation of the monthly contract accounts including variance analysis for relevant business areas; ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, challenging Project Managers to ensure that the balance sheet is kept clean; assist and coordinate revenue/cost forecasting for the account as appropriate; report and explain monthly performance to business Managers; provide ad hoc analysis for the Business Unit Controller/Business Managers and CFOs; provide the business with training and guidance in both financial issues and training; support Finance team and Commercial team in implementing account wide initiatives eg budgets, roll out of policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong client focus and an understanding of the commercial issues and framework of accounts. You will be studying for an accountancy qualification or qualified by experience and have experience within IT Outsourcing or Managed Services environment. If interested please forward your CV ASAP.
