Job description
My client is a well established and highly successful subsidiary of a major Manufacturing group. As a result of ongoing development they are seeking a part-qualified Management Accountant to join the Senior Finance team. The role will involve maintaining a costing and reporting system, you will also play a key role in providing financial advice to support manufacturing and other Managers in improving the overall profitability of the Group. Additional responsibilities will include preparation of timely monthly management accounts, detailed preparation and analysis of costings, variance analysis, year end stock take and involvement in the company forecasting & budgeting process. The ideal candidate will be studying for a professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent, with previous costing knowledge gained within a manufacturing environment. You should also possess strong communication skills and be able to operate in a team environment. Long term opportunities to progress.
