Job description
My client is a successful Manufacturer based on the borders of West & North Yorkshire. We are pleased to be working exclusively to recruit a Company Accountant. You’ll take responsibility for both management & financial accounting for the site. The purpose of the role is to deliver monthly, quarterly & annual statutory & management reports for the benefit of the business, whilst assisting the Senior Management team in driving growth, innovation & potential cost saving as appropriate. Key accountabilities: financial reporting - budgets, forecasts, consolidation, working capital forecasts, weekly performance review statistic; working capital - debtors, creditors, stocks; product costing/margin analysis tax & VAT control; intercompany transactions; budget preparation, planning, forecasting, tracking; Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Typical capabilities: outstanding communicator; commercially focused mindset; problem solving & innovation; planning & organising; mentor/coach; team-worker. Essentials: CIMA/ACCA/ACA with post-qualified experience; proven track record of statutory accounting; proven track record of cost accounting; clear track record of delivery within a SME/manufacturing/engineering accounting role.
