Job description
Our client, a leading organisation is looking to recruit a Management Accountant. You will be responsible for/to: preparation of accurate monthly management accounts, forecasting, budgeting and balance sheet reconciliations whilst ensuring adherence to accounting policies and IFRS; contribute to meeting performance targets for both revenue and GOP, whilst making recommendations to maximise efficiency and productivity; produce regular and ad hoc reports and analysis to support the financial obligations, and to assist in decision-making; attendance and participation in leadership meetings & reviews including presentation of financial performance. Requirements: good commercial knowledge and understanding of relevant financial models; ideally be studying for a finance professional qualification (study package offered), or qualified Accountant; experience of working in a management accounting role; high attention to detail and good analysis skills; able to prioritise workload and work in a pressured environment; proactive, enthusiastic and willing to get involved with the business; highly professional manner and ability to challenge more senior members of staff; must show flexibility and willingness to travel when necessary; display proactive approach to problems and their resolution.
