Job description
Based in Shropshire, our client seeks a part-qualified/qualified Accountant to join them in the newly created role of Management Accountant. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and rapidly expanding UK based company with a blue chip customer base. The business is entrepreneurial and dynamic and is seeking a good staff motivator with a confident personality and the ambition to challenge and evolve the role. Duties will include: supervising ledger staff, signing off invoices, producing the monthly management accounts, VAT, Intrastat and ad hoc management analysis. You will also be responsible for managing the relationship with external IT suppliers and oversee systems backups. To suit this company and this role, you should have a positive attitude, be hands-on and hardworking, have a professional yet personable demeanour and be able to make decisions.
