Job description
Thomas Jean Associates Accountancy Recruitment Specialists is currently seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join a large distribution business based in the Tamworth/Staffordshire area. Your duties and responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include: continuous improvement of KPIs; supporting the operators in a variety of projects; monthly management accounts; weekly flash reports and reconciliation to monthly accounts; assisting in the budgeting & forecasting process; supporting the Regional FC. As the Management Accountant you will possess the following skills and attributes: be a qualified Accountant; ideally have experience of the distribution/logistics industry; be an advanced user of Excel; be able to work in a fast-paced business; have a positive customer facing personality to support local management; be mobile as you will also support 3 other depots (a car is provided for this). This role is a perfect opportunity to join a well-branded business, which is part of a larger group where there are huge opportunities for advancement.
