Job description
My client based in Stockport, is a successful Marketing business currently recruiting a Management Accountant. Following a period of continued growth and internal re-structure, a new position has been created for a Management Accountant to manage the daily finances of the company. An exciting role offering the opportunity to play an integral role in the companies future growth, duties will include: preparing the UK management accounts comprising profit & loss and balance sheet; cost and budget monitoring by department; statutory reporting, VAT Returns and Intrastats; preparation of the annual audit for the External Accountants; development of new KPIs for the business to help drive greater efficiencies across departments; transactional processing (Accruals, Prepayments, Ledgers); daily Cash management and Credit Control. Applicants should have experience of operating within an SME in a sole finance capacity, and will be conversant with Sage. They will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
