Job description
Reed Finance has an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic organisation on a temporary to permanent basis in Surrey. Responsibilities: preparation and posting of all nominal journals; monthly management accounts; variance analysis; regular reconciliation of balance sheet accounts; bank reconciliations; weekly turnover report; reconciliation of turnover to billing systems; monthly/quarterly VAT returns for all countries; check/release as approved batched purchase invoices; assist FD with year end audit; ad hoc reporting and analysis as required; assist FD in smooth running of Finance function; work with FD in developing Finance systems/reporting. Experience required: qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA, ACA); experience of working as a No 2 in an SME; experience of preparing VAT returns; previous experience of business with high level of currency transactions; strong Accounts system experience (Access Accounts Dimensions would be an advantage).
