Job description

Management Accountant
Part-time (25 hours per week)
Salary £29,250 - £33,420 pro rata + pension benefits
Based in Taunton, Somerset

The UK Hydrographic Office is the organisation behind the highly successful and trusted Admiralty brand, providing comprehensive world coverage of navigational charts, digital products and services to the mariner and international shipping.

The financial and non-financial information you provide will underpin performance management across the business. At the same time you’ll analyse, identify and highlight key data and changes in trends, and obtain actual and forecast data to input into SAP before transferring it to our MI System.

A part-qualified Accountant, ideally working towards qualification, you will possess good experience of management accounting in a medium-sized organisation. Together with a numerate and analytical mind, you will have technical knowledge of MIS systems, proven SAP experience and spreadsheet expertise. The ability to liaise at all levels of management will be essential.

This is a Ministry of Defence non-reserved post and is therefore open to UK, British Commonwealth and European Economic Area nationals. Candidates should normally have been resident in the UK for at least the last five years.
