Job description
A Management Accountant is required to join the Finance team within a large blue chip company based in West Malling. The Management Accountant will be supporting the Finance Manager in the financial control and management of a highly acquisitive division. Responsibilities: assist in the control of purchase orders/invoices in line with authorisation levels; support in the production of monthly management accounts using SAP; forecasting on a rolling monthly basis; support the Business Unit Director and Finance Manager in the business planning process; promote strong financial control and cost control within the business units; ad hoc analysis; project work and much more. You’ll be either qualified or Finalist CIMA or ACCA along with large private sector organisation background, have strong experience in monthly management accounts and business planning and project experience along with strong Excel skills (pivot tables and v-look ups etc), SAP accounting software is required or similar accounting software. You’ll have good interpersonal skills to build relationships with operations, other members of the Finance team. You will be a hands-on pragmatic individual and good problem solver.
