Job description
Prestigious manufacturing company is keen to appoint a part or qualified Accountant into a newly created analytical role Working as part of the Operations Accounting function, you will be within a team of 4, taking responsibility for the management reporting for different operations of the business, including manufacturing and logistics. This role will have a strong management reporting and costing focus and will support the commercial decisions of the business. You will also be responsible for budgeting/forecasting. This is a very visible role, where you will be working alongside production and logistics Directors. Excellent opportunity to join a well known business in a challenging role. Role will suit a CIMA managerial studier (or equivalent) to a qualified Accountant. Candidates must be driven, excellent communicators, can demonstrate the ability to develop strong relationships across a business and be willing to challenge the status quo. You will have strong IT skills, particularly Excel. A background in manufacturing, distribution or logistics would be advantageous, but not essential. Benefits package: salary £24,000-£29,000 (depending on experience/qualifications) plus study support plus large company benefits.
