Job description
My client has a permanent job in West Yorkshire that it is looking to fill. The role is of Management Accountant and you’ll have significant housing experience. The role covers the following responsibilities: manage the production of monthly management accounts the organisation and its subsidiaries and business streams, including variance analysis; manage the production of monthly performance reports for the organisation; manage the production of other relevant performance reports as required by the business; work with Business Managers to support budgetary management and to enhance their understanding of the financial implications of their business decisions, with a particular focus on value for money; support Business Managers in the production of annual budgets and in assessing the financial impact of new projects and ventures; lead for finance on value for money work across the organisation, including benchmarking; support the Financial Accountant in the production of the annual statutory accounts, tax computations and other regulatory/statutory returns; support the Financial Planning team and Business Managers in the longer term planning for the organisation, subsidiaries and business streams; manage the work and performance of the Assistant Accountants and performance staff and develop their skills to improve overall performance of the team.
