Job description
Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a rapidly growing business based in Alton. Duties: must be able to read and speak Mandarin; sales ledger, invoicing & reconciliation; purchase ledger and invoicing; credit control; receipts and payments, cash and bank reconciliation; foreign currency transactions; some General Ledger work; reconciliation of intercompany ledgers between 2 divisions; other ad hoc accounts enquiries; liaising with Chinese and Hong Kong offices. Skills: knowledge of Navision Financials/Attain beneficial; knowledge of BBM or similar direct banking facility beneficial; good knowledge of Microsoft Office required, particularly Excel. This position requires an enthusiastic team player prepared to learn new skills and accept responsibility. The successful candidate will report to the Group Accountant.
