Job description
This is a truly world-class business that have produced innovative and market leading products for over 100 years. They have products that are sold in over 50 countries worldwide where their iconic brands are instantly recognisable. This success has been based on their ability to attract the best talent. The current recruitment at their Lancashire site now reflects ongoing investment within the Finance team. A new opportunity has been created to work closely with the Operations teams in driving more value from a key business unit. Through an understanding of the cost structure of new and developing product lines you will aid decision support in the areas of marketing, capital and profit improvement projects. Previous experience of manufacturing and particularly yield management will be highly desirable. Ideal candidates will be qualified CIMA with strong academics who have followed a structured career path within a recognised Food/FMCG brand. This role uses manufacturing ERP systems heavily and previous SAP experience will be highly desirable. The ability to influence at the highest level will be important to the successful delivery of projects. This will require strong data manipulation skills using Excel and the ability to create PowerPoint presentations. This is an organisation that develops its talent and opportunities for progression to more senior management roles will exist. Please forward CV or call Phil Bainbridge for more information.
