Job description
My client based in Leeds West Yorkshire is a leading global supplier of information solutions combining consultancy, expertise and integration technology solutions to a range of corporate and privately owned companies. As part of its continued growth my client is wishing to recruit a commercially minded and ambitious Operational MI Analyst adding value to the reporting and commercial control department. Reporting to the regional FC and working closely with Operational teams across a number of service lines you will work as part of a small dedicated team providing continuous improvement of management information, identifying, reporting on and supporting the management of key performance indicators. Primary responsibilities involve the review of financial and non-financial procedures, systems and activities and their effect on contract performance as well as providing ad hoc analysis to on and off-site management to support general understanding of their respective businesses; continual review of sales, costs and profitability as well as identification of areas of potential risk and under performance. You will possess strong MI/analytical background coupled with a keen commercial and business acumen with the ability to deliver high quality analytical support in this forward-thinking and progressive organisation. You will further have a strong command of Excel and be proficient in SQL and visual basic. Superb opportunity for career progression through finance or non-finance route. Interviews will be held locally in the Leeds area wk/c 6th and 13th February 2012. The salary on offer is £28k - £35k plus excellent benefits package.
