Job description
Coming into the role with Operational Risk Management experience you will be responsible for the following (but not limited to): actively assist with Annual Risk Control and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) reviews, including reviewing and recommending alterations to existing Frameworks; act as a key stakeholder in Company Projects, including RDR, Influencing and managing other stakeholders on Operational Risk Issues; oversee and further develop the companies risk policies and processes; review and advise on Risk and MI data internally and if required escalate to the RM Committee; actively participate in company project to ensure Risk Management have a strong presence within the business and are engrained into the businesses day-to-day activities successfully; review external suppliers risk management processes to ensure the company can actively manage risk; line management of RM Analysts. Candidates will have previous Risk Management experience within a client facing FSA regulated business and be accustomed to developing and implementing ICAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations in addition to having a full understanding of FSA regulations and subsequent compliance issues (RDR). Previous experience of Risk Management oversight of Business Continuity, Change Management and IT is also required. You should be a proven leader with a highly analytical mindset coupled with a strong skill-set that includes high level communication, negotiation, influencing, stakeholder management and IT Skills coupled with experience of training and developing junior colleagues.
