Job description

A niche division of a global FMCG Group is recruiting an Operations Accountant. Reporting to the European Head of Finance, the position has a split commercial/operational remit and is a key business partner providing reporting on product lines through to regional performance. The role will be responsible for all aspects of manufacturing and supply chain accounting for the UK operations. This includes financial accounting for period end close, budgeting, and forecasting as well as monthly management reporting to Operations management. In addition it will also be responsible for product costing, intercompany and interregional pricing, as well as accounting for freight, warehousing, inventory and capital expenditure. An outstanding role with excellent national and even international career prospects, the client is requiring a highly motivated qualified Accountant, with excellent communication skills. The role is very hi-profile with-in the business and is identified as a key succession position for the wider European operation.
