Job description
A highly reputable Financial Services company in South Wales is looking for a PMO support candidate, initially for a period of 3-months and ideally for an immediate start. This role has strong chance of being extended and would highly recommend for a strong PMO Support/Analyst. The successful candidate will carry out the following duties: set up of PMO structures, tools and controls for projects initiating; assuring best practice PMO activities across a project/programme; enforcing key project deliverables and planning approaches with PMs and Programme Managers to highlighting any slippage, risk and issues; ensuring Simplification Programme create high quality Steering packs by validating status shown in project reports and ensuring project status reports are produced by the PM to review and amend and ensures key data is captured and extracted using best practice; assisting with establishing project & programme benefits and defining/implementing an approach to benefits tracking; assisting with production of project plan and once base lined, controls progress tracking, management of interdependencies and change request updates; implementing a support structure for the project quality management process ensuring deliverables are reviewed and signed off; conducting programme/project QA reviews and ad hoc analysis where appropriate applying subject matter expertise risk issue and assumption management and quality processes to identify areas for improvement in projects and programmes.
