Job description
The role: consistently deliver high quality services on time with a focus on, responsiveness, client satisfaction, effective client communication and client service orientation; manage the payroll for circa 800-1000 employees monthly; manage 1 part-time Payroll Administrator; continuously identify and execute strategies to develop and deliver products and services to meet client objectives and business needs; constantly develop specialised skills in Associates that enable them to produce work efficiently and cost effectively; working with HR to administer UK payroll & benefits process from start to finish including liaison with HR team regarding staff records and benefits; ensure all relevant data is accurate, including in respect of compensation, reporting and tax year end processes; management of timely and accurate payroll taxes submissions and payments (PAYE, P11ds, P35, etc); benefits administration support including pension scheme arrangements; liaison with external parties as required including the clients third party payroll provider, HMRC and the Clients Auditors; support PeopleSoft implementation and its integration with payroll processes. Experience required: experience of complete ownership of running a monthly payroll, reconciliations and year end procedures; keeping up-to-date with payroll and other relevant legislative changes and ensuring processes are adapted as required to remain compliant; a strong understanding of pension, NI, tax and other payroll and relevant regulatory matters.
