Job description
Robert Finance and accounting is exclusively recruiting a Payroll Manager for a large Manufacturing business based in Woking. The right candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the payroll service. The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for the management of a small team. You will be able to manage and oversee the Payroll functions in a complex environment, with a number of differing payment terms and other various terms and conditions of employment. My client is seeking someone who is strategic in there thinking, able to communicate at all levels and work in a timely and efficient manner. This role will work closely with the Finance team and be expected to provide analysis and data reporting to the FD. This means that the ideal candidate would have a finance background with strong systems experience. Ideally SAP. You will be able to oversee the production of all necessary Inland Revenue documentation as required, including P45 certificates for leavers, dispatching completed P45s for starters, P60 certificates, completion of P11Ds, as well as completing all other relevant forms for inland revenue, contributions agency or any other statutory organisation. Manage the monthly claims from staff and ensure payment in the next available monthly salary payment. This would include claims made on timesheets and expenses forms. You will be able to ensure the payments to staff through a BACS system on a monthly basis and able to make 3rd Party BACS payments, provide remittance advices and generate BACS files and reports for Head of Finance.
