Job description
Personal Tax Assistant required for this leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Aberdeen. The firms' specialist Tax department guides clients safely and efficiently through the tax maze. In recent years, they have greatly enhanced their capability in tax planning by recruiting tax specialists at all levels from national practices. As part of a team of eleven, you will report to Manager taking responsibility for your own varied portfolio of personal tax clients; including Sole Traders, Partnerships, Pensioners, Directors, HWNIs and estate owners. You will prepare income and CGT returns for your clients as well as dealing with client queries and liaising with HMRC. Coming from a practice background, you will have experience preparing personal tax returns for clients. You will be a confident communicator, well organised and be able to work as part of a busy team. Possession of the ATT qualification is advantageous but not essential, as the firm is willing to provide the necessary study support to achieve full qualification.
