Job description

Our client is the largest firm of independent Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers in the South Coast area and team members enjoy a contemporary culture and team-working environment with full support for training and development needs. Reporting to the Tax team Manager, the role will include managing your own varied portfolio of clients, preparing tax returns and advising on tax liabilities. You will enjoy and be confident in dealing with high net worth clients, professional partnerships, sole traders and Company Directors. Good knowledge in dealing with PAYE matters including P11D completion is essential as well as strong IT and communication skills. Corporate tax skills are desirable as the successful candidate will have the opportunity to have a mixed personal/corporate tax portfolio if preferred. The successful candidate will ideally be ATT/CTA/ACCA/ACA qualified although unqualified candidates with a strong background in Accountancy Practice will also be considered. Full study support for ATT and/or CTA will be provided if required. Experience of working in an accounts role is also desirable but not essential.
