Job description
The company: a multibillion-pound turnover and market-leading Professional Services and we’re determined to become a truly world-class business. The role: operating within a high volume, target-driven, customer-centred environment, you will rapidly and accurately process financial transactions and documents against some tight deadlines. In particular, you will write and maintain standard reports, extract and review data, prepare accounts consolidations for Operating Companies and Group Finance and reconcile financial reporting to management reporting demanding strong analytical and problem-solving skills and knowledge of multicurrency ERP systems. Equally importantly, you will spend much of your time focussing on cash application accounting and risk mitigation, whilst playing a key role within the Management team. What we’re looking for: educated to degree level and a qualified Accountant, you will have an extensive track record of managing, planning and controlling an accounting and reporting function within a group operating environment. This will have involved leading and inspiring a substantial team, balancing the expectations of multiple stakeholders and driving forward far-reaching change. Essential: degree educated; accountancy qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA; proven and demonstrable management accounting experience; excellent communication skills.
