Job description

My global client is seeking an experienced Planning & Performance Manager to lead and deliver all Planning and Performance within one of their UK Manufacturing business units. The role available is a commercial finance position - it would suit someone with significant experience in areas such as management reporting and analysis within industry, preferably within a larger business. The scope of the role will include, but not exclusively: accountable for group forecast and actuals against budget plan (annual and multi-year) and monthly actual data collection, preparation, review, reporting and submission within required timetables; responsible for the investigation and explanation of all material variances linked to activities and events when analysing actual, forecast, planned performance against prior actuals, forecast and/or plan data; active participation in business management processes using Management Information (MI) for driving challenge and change that enables the business to take corrective actions to continuously improve performance; articulation of business performance linked as a continuum to strategy, plans, activities and events that drive financial outcomes. Ideally you will be qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE with significant relevant accounting and analytical experience; computer literate strong PowerPoint and Excel handling & modelling skills; knowledgeable of financial systems and databases (primarily SAP).
