Job description

Our client is a London based Consultancy and turn around firm which specialise in the Healthcare sector. Due to growth they are now looking for a bright proactive Accountant to join their team. Qualifications/skills: qualified or part-qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA; healthcare experience desirable but not essential; working knowledge of UK GAAP, regulatory reporting and audit file preparation required. Responsibilities: statutory accounts production in accordance with UK statutory legal and accounting standards; ensuring all tax compliance responsibilities are adhered to in the UK, inclusive of managing deferred tax, VAT and corporation tax; managing relationships with External Auditors and ensuring data is provided to them; provision of advice relating to technical tax and accounting matters and providing advisory support where necessary; ensuring all loan documentation relating to the funding of development projects is accurately completed on a timely basis; monthly corporate submission of results; responsible for accounting procedures and reporting for entire portfolio and producing regular (monthly and quarterly) financial reports and analysis; P&L and balance sheet analysis and other monthly financial analysis. This will suit someone with excellent communication skills, who is self-motivated and a team player.
