Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice candidate with ideally strong audit skills looking for their next career move. This reputable firm of Chartered Accountants is looking for ideally a qualified candidate looking to progress their career in practice. The firm will also consider applications from strong part-qualified candidates as well where a study package will also be provided. Company information: long established and well respected firm of Chartered Accountants; friendly working environment; all aspects of corporate finance, audit, accounts preparation, management accounts, accountancy and business advice and tax; strong training and development programme for staff. You must have the following: qualified candidate from a busy practice environment or part-qualified candidate working towards their final stage exams from practice; decent experience of audit work; excellent people & communication skills to build client relationships; team player. Ideally you have the following: computer literate with strong Microsoft Word/Excel skills; able to train and develop student staff; proven track record of managing own portfolio of clients. Role information: you will work with the Partner dealing in audit getting involved in all aspects of compliance and planning work; lead on some audits with the assistance of training staff; manage your own portfolio of clients across accounts preparation and some tax work; train and develop student staff in areas of audit, accounts preparation and tax work.
