Job description
A successful firm of Chartered Accountants based near Wigan require an experienced Practice Accountant. The firm have an established client base located across the north-west region and offer a working environment that is stable and friendly. The role will support the firms Partners by taking responsibility for management of a client portfolio, with the Practice Accountant taking responsibility for: responsibility for a portfolio of clients, managing all jobs from start to finish; preparation of accounts for limited companies, charities, solicitors, private partnerships and sole traders; carrying out audits for a small number of clients; preparation of personal and corporation tax returns; liaising and meeting with clients to provide advice on their financial and taxation affairs; providing training and support to Semi Seniors as required. The role will suit an experienced Practice Accountant, either formally qualified or qualified by experience. Most important will be their experience of managing client relationships and their ability to demonstrate effective client facing skills. They will be able to train and support juniors and be able to work on their own initiative.
