Job description
Elevation Practice is currently working on behalf of an independent firm of Chartered Accountants based South of Leeds City Centre. The firm is a 2 Partner Practice and provide a full range of accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients from SMEs, partnership and limited companies. The firm have seen significant growth in 2009, as such they are looking to employ a qualified AAT or qualified by experience professional Practice Accountant. The role will report to one of the two Partners, assisting as a link between the junior staff members and senior management, duties will include: the preparation of accounts from incomplete records (using IRIS software); preparation of corporate and personal tax computations; client bookkeeping; assist on non statutory audits and supervision of junior staff members. Although the role is advertised as a full-time role, my client can also offer the flexibility of part-time if required. The successful applicant will be either AAT qualified or qualified by experience with relevant current experience working for a similar sized firm of Accountants.
