Job description
My client, a leading international organisation based in the Twickenham area, is looking to recruiting a Finance Business Partner due to continuing success. Providing support to the sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of robust and timely pricing proposals, along with being the point of expertise on pricing models of various sizes. Key responsibilities include: drive creative and innovative pricing strategies through quality qualification; present pricing solutions to senior management for sign off; preparation of integrated business plans (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statement, investment proposals) for new business opportunities; analysis and evaluation of competitor pricing strategy; development and implementation of transaction pricing strategies; develop innovative transaction pricing models, ensuring best practice in existing pricing models; develop new monitoring and reporting tools to help identify trends and opportunities for pricing changes; conducting scenario analysis and consult with Management team to prepare for management decisions; respond to RFP and RFI requests; manage pricing changes; analysing, reviewing and updating pricing for existing client contracts; provide commercial advice on implications from bid contractual terms and conditions ie payment terms, insurance liability, no volume guarantees etc. The successful candidate will have a proven understanding of pricing models and methodology, with a proven track record of providing support to commercial bid teams. Strong analytical skills and a background in finance and accounting are a must with a professional accountancy qualification preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Due to the supporting nature of this role excellent communication skills will be a given.
