Job description

Are you CTA/ACA qualified (or equivalent)? Do you have experience of Private Client Tax within a firm of Chartered Accountants? Barclay Meade's Public Practice team currently seeks a Private Client Tax Senior for a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Reading. You will have personal responsibility for the management of an existing private client tax portfolio along with the task of proactively developing additional clients. You will act as your client's first point of contact and manage the delivery of both tax and other specialist assignments to scope and budget. You will lead the planning and delivery of designated assignments, set work standards, provide technical guidance to teams, continually update and liaise with the Account Manager, prepare tax computations and resolve tax issues, support the development of team skills and knowledge along with taking ownership of specialist assignments as designated. A desirable candidate will be CTA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) with previous experience of Private Client Tax within a firm of Chartered Accountants. Excellent communication skills are key to this role, as the need to develop relationships both internally with colleagues and externally with your portfolio of clients are essential.
