Job description
Our retained client is a leading independent mid-market European Private Equity House with a number of offices across the UK. The firm has a long track record of producing consistent high returns for its investors. An Investment Manager is required to join the team in Manchester with a remit to provide support in all matters associated with identifying, executing and monitoring private equity transactions. Specific duties may include: participating in investment origination; researching, evaluating and assessing market sectors, business plans, Companies and Management teams; preparing reports for the Investment committee; coordinating teams of Advisors including Investment Bankers, Lawyers and Accountants; challenging, testing and ensuring the integrity of financial models; providing support in analysing, structuring, executing and monitoring investment transactions. Potential candidates will possess the following profile: qualified Accountant and/or other relevant qualification (such as MBA) from a leading institution; experience in corporate finance, transaction services, management consulting, investment banking, corporate restructuring or relevant experience with a private equity house; confident and credible relationship building skills; a developed network amongst the professional, banking and business community.
