Job description

One of London's biggest Investment Banks is looking for a Project Manager to join its market risk infrastructure programme. This is a leading programme that will encompass many aspects of systems change, and brings together accountability for the design, management and delivery of strategic transformation programmes within market risk. Your role will be to ensure delivery of the most complex large scale projects or programmes and changes by leading Project Managers through the full cycle or working with risk subject matter expert’s, other change teams and suppliers to manage dependencies to time and budget. The main responsibilities of this key role will include, drive the requirements gathering, design, management and delivery of assigned project(s). Responsibilities: responsible for day-to-day project management - including resource allocation, activity prioritisation, tracking, reporting and risk & issue management; responsible for ensuring project adheres to change governance processes and reporting requirements; responsible for ensuring that impacted BAU teams are fully engaged in design activities, communications are effectively managed & systems smoothly handed over into BAU; ensure project delivered within budget and that projected benefits are delivered; act as a consultant and a point of reference on business wide risk-specific change programme initiatives; act as the key point of reference for all areas impacted by the specific change project(s); initiate and manage changes to processes in order to achieve operational improvement; manage and support project activities, including risk identification, evaluation and management in order to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
