Job description
Sheridan Maine is working exclusively with a dynamic business based in Basingstoke. The Project Accountant vacancy has arisen because of an internal promotion. The role is specifically responsible for the provision of management accounting information to enable the Business Unit Director and FD to fully understand the performance of the business and ensure management decisions are made in an accurate and timely manner. The role is broad and key responsibilities will include: ensuring accuracy and integrity of project ledgers and carrying out contract reviews on large projects, reviewing projects with management and investigating variances and report accordingly, produce monthly consolidated summaries of performance vs budget and forecast, maximise performance of the business unit attending monthly review meetings and involvement in tenders and bids, prepare annual budgets and forecasts for sales and margin.
