Job description
Our client is a market leading international leisure business based in Watford. The role will be to assist the senior management with a number of financial projects. This will involve several activities such as, research and identification of project implications and the impact on relevant stake holders, establish plan to implement projects and outline ongoing data requirements, establish an understanding of the impact under both local and US GAAP will have on the accounting processes. You will co-ordinate with relevant stakeholders to understand local GAAP implications, obtain an understanding of the impact projects will have on the reporting environment within the business. As project accountant you will communicate important information to team members, this will include advising management on progress and advise on key performance issues. You will be a qualified accountant and have experience of working within a large multinational organisation. Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is require and excellent communication skills.
