Job description
As a market leader within the Property, Construction and Infrastructure sector, this FTSE PLC invests in a broad range of projects encompassing Private Finance Initiatives and Public-Private Partnerships. Continued successful expansion through the winning of new business has created a new requirement for a Project Accountant to support the Investments division. Your brief includes: financial control & provision of financial data on PPP/PFI projects; budgeting, reporting and control of project performance; quarterly forecasting & annual business planning; identification and solution of key financial risks; highlighting options for maximising profit & shareholder returns; managing year end audit process, ensuring VAT & CIS compliance. As a graduate, ideally with a finance-related degree and a good academic track record, you will be seeking to study for a professional accounting qualification and demonstrate an interest in commercial and financial activities, the ability to solve problems and build strong business relationships alongside excellent Excel skills.
