Job description

As a market leader within the Engineering & Project Management sector, this highly successful business division, itself a subsidiary of an FTSE group, continues to experience profitable growth within a competitive market place through a range of projects across the UK & Europe. Delivering excellence through cost-efficient, customer focused solutions for a broad range of infrastructure projects, the group is currently seeking a Project Accountant (Finance Manager) for a number of it sites throughout the division and their UK project sites. Your brief includes: acting as commercial financial support to Project & Commercial Managers; preparation of project monthly management accounts, cost summaries and cash forecasts; analysis and reporting of project KPIs, performance & key business drivers; preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budget information; preparation of annual and half year accounts; monitoring project overheads & financial records. Additionally, you will take responsibility for a small project Finance team and implement appropriate financial controls & processes. As either a qualified or qualified by experience individual with demonstrable project & management accounting skills, strong Excel experience and evidence of supporting the non-finance community, you will be commercially astute with the ability to influence decision makers and build robust business relationships.
