Job description

Our client is a major national business that is currently looking to recruit for a Project Accountant to join their team in their offices in Leeds. The team is expanding due to a greater need for project finance work in the business and they are looking for a commercially minded CIMA/ACCA candidate to help them do this. The main responsibilities of the role will be to identify and implement projects across the business that will reduce costs, save the business money and ensure that the business is as profitable as possible. You will do this by undertaking cost benefit analysis, undertaking business reviews to identify areas for improvement and designing and delivering financial evaluation models. In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and have the ability to explain complicated financial information to non-finance stakeholders. You will need to be a part-qualified or ideally Finalist in CIMA or ACCA and be very strong on Excel. You will need strong analytical skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of stakeholder. The business provides a really top rate benefits package and has many opportunities for progression if you are able to demonstrate your ability well.
