Job description
My well established client in the consultancy business based in Reading is looking for an experienced Project Accountant with a proven track record of managing up to 200 projects at a time from start to finish. You will be responsible for the project accounts for each of the engineering projects, setting up the projects, allocating the resources, assigning consultants to job roles, supporting the Project Managers and engineers on a daily basis and providing the cost and management accounting, you will summarise the project overview and report on profitable and loss making projects. You will have strong communication skills and a proven track record in project management and managing up to 200 projects at any one time. You will have strong system and Excel skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. You will enjoy working in a supportive environment that supports the progression and development of the individual and will receive study support towards a professional qualification.
