Job description
Duties: preparation of quarterly management accounts for multiple PFI entities; reviewing all revenue and costs associated with each project and working closely with Project Managers to resolve any anomalies; gaining an understanding of all contracts agreed for each project; preparation of financial statutory accounts (Limited Companies and Partnerships); consolidation of management accounts for multiple PFI projects a quarterly basis; undertaking accruals and prepayments at month end; reviewing cashbooks, accounts payable and accounts receivable produced by Accounts Assistants on a monthly basis; undertaking ad hoc invoicing requests/processing as required (low volume on a monthly basis); VAT returns. Requirements: qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent); attention to detail; strong numeracy skills; prior knowledge of management and financial accounts; excellent communication skills; key desire to challenge and question. Our client is an international Construction business handling a number of PFI projects offers £45,000 per annum plus benefits package. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
