Job description

We are working with a large international business that is looking to attract a Project Accountant. This is an opportunity to work within an established team and would suit somebody who comes from a medium or large project accounting background within a construction or engineering company. Key responsibilities will include: reporting including contract cost report, cash flow reports, foreign exchange requirements, variance analysis; preparation of monthly actuals and phased terminal forecasts; being actively involved in improving reporting and financial control; production and interpretation of a detailed monthly reporting pack; proactive project analysis; cost control including reviewing intra company costs, outside supply, expenses and subcontractors; overseas the client invoicing. Our client is looking for a fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or qualified by experience. It is essential that successful candidates should have experience of reporting on projects for either construction or engineering businesses. Strong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen and analytical skills are all essential.
