Job description

Working on behalf of a well known employer in the Wiltshire area, Ambridge Harris is actively looking for a Project Accountant. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working closely with the Project Managers, the main responsibilities of the role will include: working as a key Finance Business Partner within projects, providing both commercial and financial support; developing project budgets and monthly forecast for both costs and benefits and ensure that corporate planning deadlines are met; financial input and challenge to business cases and detailed financial reviews supporting the project funding process; monthly financial actual reporting and forecasting; become specialist on investment accounting policies; ensure that project benefits are identified and forecasts are tracked and built into future business plans to support the cost challenge. Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant or equivalent experience, looking to broaden their business experience, gain significant stakeholder management experience, raise their profile and make a significant impact to the financial success. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated professional who has the confidence and determination to support and challenge Project Managers, and provide commercial advice. The ability to be flexible in their approach to work, and gain the confidence of large numbers of stakeholders is an absolute must. Ambridge Harris is committed to equal opportunity and diversity.
