Job description
Robert Half Finance and Accounting is looking to recruit a Project Controller to work for this international organisation. The role is temporary with high probability of a permanent role. Duties (but not limited to): attend monthly meetings held by Project functions and provide financial advice/oversight as required; post monthly accruals and validate cost accuracy for month end processes; set up work breakdown structure for new projects to enable analysis of capital costs; manage cash call process from investors; monitor cash flow actuals and provide detailed information to investors as needed; advise Development and Projects functions on accounting/tax (with support from UK Tax team) implications as appropriate during decision-making process on capital projects; collate and challenge data and assumptions for input into annual business plan/quarterly forecasts and submit to Planning function; critically review results comparing actuals with forecast and budgeted figures; produce key performance indicators and progress report on key projects for submission into quarterly review process; identify and report to Finance Management team project risks, evaluating probability, impact and policy for mitigating risk; ensure internal controls are being adequately applied; review project position to ensure foreign currency risk is adequately hedged; place/amend hedges as appropriate; analyse and report on contingency position within project elements. Qualified with PQE.
