Job description
Role: Commercial Finance position, providing robust information and spending time in the business, supporting management; developing costing system for the services this public sector organisation provides; working with large volumes of data, generating reporting for business planning, performance monitoring and for ad hoc projects; working alongside management accounts, Financial Services and capital reporting; continually reviewing the quality of data available from key operational areas; working with staff to improve the costing system; promoting the costing system and its services to the organisation with presentation of data and training of key staff; assisting in budgeting. Planning and organising a range of complex projects that impact the organisation from national or local requirements; excellent MS Excel experience & knowledge of Access is essential, and ideally SQL programming; experience of budgetary control methods and processes, project management and delivery; able to work with large volumes of data, analyse the results in detail and presenting the findings professionally.
